What is Fire &Industrial Safety?

Fire &Industrial Safety is a field to which all aspects of scientific and Technical knowledge pertaining to the safety are linked. It involves study of subjects that deals with the designing and installation of Fire protection systems, in depth understanding of the science of fire, its hazards and control measures; various associated engineering subjects; Industrial safety and management and other psychological grooming required to make a self-reliant safety personal.


Duties and Responsibilities of Fire & Safety Officer

Supporting the development of Occupational Health &Safety policies and programs. Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.) Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures. Safety Officers are responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work. Fire & Safety Officers are responsible to implement National Building Code, Factories Act, Building and others Construction Workers Act, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 and other several Fire & Safety Laws and regulations.
